Well, Revenge of the Sith is coming up in a few short weeks. I of course won't be seeing it until at least a week after it's release since I refuse to sit in a crowded theater for ANY movie. However, I am not above reading the associated books before their theatrical release. So I was in the city and picked up a copy of the book when I got to Embarcadero Center One 20 minutes before the start of my final meeting of the week. Got drunk Friday night with Vato - no real shock there - so I didn't manage to get very far, but the last 2/3 of the book kept me pretty well glued. It should be a very good movie, if Lucas doesn't fuck up the directing as much as the first two prequels. I swear, Episode IV is a testament to the great actors that were (ended up being) in that movie, because Lucas sucks ass behind the camera. -and no, I could give a shit less about Jar Jar, those movies sucked regardless of that character. One of the unfortunate aspects of keeping this blog is that I can't write down EVERYTHING that goes on in my life. For instance, I have to keep somewhat politically correct about work related matters lest someone get pissed at my permanent record of my opinion and...well bad things, man; bad things. I can say that work has been pretty good lately.
I'm happy to be getting more defined "direction" so that I can actually row the boat correctly, and more good changes are on the way. I met with User's Group this evening and presented our solutions for their professional consideration. Overall I thought that it was a good meeting, although it stretched my day into a 14-hour shift. Remarkably, I still have the energy to write this blog entry. ;-) Gotta keep all of fans entertained!

I have finally gotten around to cancelling my Star Wars Galaxies account. I never got fully into it, but I knew what the eventual outcome would be. Run around, fight some creatures, collect loot and master as much skill as I would desire to acheive. Then kill the account and wonder why I had ever bothered to waste so much of my life only to get nowhere of consequence. I guess that it's just another reaffirmation on life itself. No matter how much you accomplish you'll still die one day regardless and have nothing of consequence to show for it. Noone will ever know that my character existed in a few short months once they scavenge all of the dead characters from the database. Much like me IRL I guess. When it's all said and down to the wire, we're all alone.

It's that time of the year again.
What I want to know is, who the hell is this FICA guy? The son ofa bitch is always getting a cut of my paycheck but I don't remember ever getting anything in return. Fucker probably has one hell of a nice house too.
Well I have dominated the encroaching enemy that is my weed problem. The world hasn't seen a Geat down like this since Rodney King's PCP induced attack on the LAPD. I rule my yard with the iron fist, firmly holding RoundUp. That shit rules!
After running out to get smokes it was apparent that my brain wasn't firing on all cy linders yet, so I think poker will have to wait. I'll probably just burn some code instead. Armada is coming along nicely and I really need to get the first rev out soon. Thousands of network admins are depending on me.

I have finally gotten around to posting a blog. I'm not really even certain why... posterity maybe? Perhaps. For the longest time I couldn't understand why anyone would bother to read a blog let alone write one, then I got hooked reading one and decided to give it a shot.
I got really smashed last night at the bar with Vato. Iwas getting ready to leave when I met a pretty cool chick and started talking to her. Unfortunately all that I can remember is that she went to MIT and was working in Vacaville but lived in NYC. I think she had nice tits and blonde hair too. Vato had to split since it was pretty late, so I tossed him my keys and commenced to putting the moves on. Needless to say I didn't feel very well when I woke up late this morning, hungover, $140 lighter (told you I drank a lot!), and alone in my own bed. Ah! No great loss.
Anyway, I think that it's about that time of the week to hit the card room anyway. I'm in need of some relaxation and spirited competition. I can't seem to beat the online crowd...
